Big Bear Lake Fishing Update: September
We are back on cold water mode. The oxygen level is good all over, the water temps are close
62 degrees from one end of the Lake to the other and trout are screaming up and down the
lake. That translates to fishing is wide open again and the presentation is your
choice as I don't think you can not catch a fish if you put something they have
eaten once in the water. Now as we all know it could snow 8 feet tomorrow and
things can change very fast this time of year, but right now we are on feedbag.com
Bass fishing has been pretty darn good this season as
we head into fall bass fishing time. This should be a good time to test your
bass action skills. With that said we are having our first bass tournament this
Saturday and still have plenty of room for some more to get in on the action.

The crappie fishing has been epic this season which
means next year we will see some slab daddies showing up. The mini jigs and
worms seem to make it happen all summer long.
Catfish fishing was completely off the charts all summer long and I would have to think
it will slow down as we cool fast. I have been wrong before but there may be some time left
to throw some cut mackerel or a perfectly good hot dog out there to see what
happens!
