It's that
time of year again. You know, when things are getting a little too
crazy on the home front and you just gotta escape with a group of
your good buds. It's amazing what a few days of not shaving or
changing your favorite t-shirt, no matter how much it begins to
smell, can do for you. Besides, you deserve it. You've been
working way too hard. Some real relaxation is in order. Just you,
your friends, a fishing pole and cooler full of coldies. It's
not even so much about the fishing or whether you even catch a
fish. It's more about just hangin' with the guys in some
cool wilderness cove telling stories and rehashing your foolish
antics from previous trips. Like, remember last year when you
attempted to walk across the hot coals of your campfire to win a $5
bet. Oh yeah, that was brilliant. Of course you didn't feel it
that night because of all the beers you had downed, but the next
morning was another story. Your friends had to carry you around
because of the second degree burns. Whatever, it healed eventually
and made for a good story. Seriously though, nothing beats a great
guys getaway to a rustic mountain fishing lodge. No nagging kids,
wives or girlfriends, just you, your pals and some good memories to
make. Adios, I'm gone fishin' at Golden Bear
Cottages resort in Big Bear Lake!
